My name is Glenn Maravetz and I am a volunteer with the City of Fairfax Band Association.  The CFBA is a non-profit organization promoting the arts in Fairfax and the surround areas, through the musical performances of our 450 musicians, represented in 7 ensemble band groups.  We spend a significant amount of time and resources supporting our youth by conducting two youth ensembles.  We also provide music for veteran's events, such as the Honor Flight program.

As a member of the Chamber, we are looking for business partnering opportunities that promote the arts.  If your organization would like to become a sponsor or patron of this community organization I would love to talk with you.  We have performance program advertising opportunities that can reach thousands with your logo and message.  Plus it's a good local community cause.  We would love to have you join us as an audience member or as an official partner.

Wes has nearly fifteen years of experience in providing accounting and auditing services for not-for-profit organizations, government contractors, small and medium-sized businesses, and local governments.  As the Director of Audit and Management Accounting at Frank & Company, p.c., he supervised the assurance services, including audits, compilations, and reviews, performed by the firm. He has conducted in-house training seminars for staff on accounting and auditing issues in addition to being a guest speaker at his alma mater, James Madison University, the Battlefield Chapter of the Virginia Society of CPAs, and for the McLean Chamber of Commerce. As both a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner, he has conducted reviews of internal controls and performed fraud investigations for multiple entities. Wes currently serves as President of the Board of Trustees at the Loudoun Education Foundation.

I have been passionate about diet, exercise and overall health for nearly eighteen years,  I first became certified as a Personal Trainer in 2001 following my experience with the Body For Life body transformation contest.  My wife and I competed in the couples category and were among the three finalists.  We did not win the big cash prize, but we did get a lot of recognition online, in magazines and in the Body For Life Success Stories book by Bill Phillips.  

Today, I am certified through the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Council on Exercise.  In addition to being a Personal Trainer, I am also a Health Coach and a Weight Management Specialist.  
I have authored three books on diet, nutrition, and exercise.  Although none have reached best-seller status, the process of researching and writing the books helped me to become a better coach and trainer.
